Skardu — On the special directives of the Honorable Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan and the Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan, Chairman/Secretary of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT) GB, Mr. Fida Hussain, along with his professional team comprising Engineer Muhammad Sibtain Akbar, Member Economist/Planner Sartaj Hussain, Senior Research Officer Imtiaz Ali, and others, conducted a detailed visit today to inspect the under-construction hostel project at Cadet College Skardu.

On this occasion, Principal Cadet College Skardu, Brigadier Muhammad Faisal Athar Rana, welcomed the team and provided a comprehensive briefing on the project. Executive Engineers from the Departments of Works and Education were also present during the briefing.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the quality, pace, and transparency of the construction work. The inspection team expressed dissatisfaction and serious concern over the current state of the project. While sharing his views, Chairman/Secretary CMIT Fida Hussain emphasized that the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan is giving top priority to projects like Cadet College Skardu to ensure the provision of quality education and training facilities for the people of the region.
